Counseling service for low-income - Low-income residents will be
able to take advantage of a $5,000 county grant with Cohoes-based
Counseling, Care, and Services Inc. which offers mental health
evaluations and therapeutic programming, officials said.

Grant - Counseling Care & Services Inc. - Cohoes was awarded a
grant by The Community Foundation for the Capitol Region Funding. The
grant enables the counseling center to offer free family counseling to
families without private health care to receive coverage help. The grant
supports a project in conjunction with Dr. Myrna Friedlander at the
University at Albany. The family counseling will be evaluated and will
provide information for training and consultation of the counselors.
