
What is the Play Therapy Center?
The Play Therapy Center was established in the year 2000 as a way to
provide for young children who are experiencing severe emotional distress. |
It is a place for children who need a safe, friendly and therapeutic
environment in order to feel, heal and learn new skills to better their
lives. The Center is fully equipped with puppets, games, sandbox, doll house
and family, audio equipment art supplies and more. |

designed to help the children explore, demonstrate and expres s
their feelings and thoughts through play activities.

We handle all information with strict confidentiality.
The informed written consent of the child's parent is required to release
any information. |

| What are the costs for
Services? |
|
| Fees are based
on a sliding scale ranging from $15 to $65 for each visit.
presently we do not accept Medicaid, but we do try to establish fees
affordable to everyone. |

| How can
services be obtained? |
|
| Any parent or
legal guardian seeking help for a child can refer that child to the agency
by phone, in person or in writing. We also receive referrals from schools,
physicians, social service agencies or other community helpers. |

5:00 pm and weekday evenings by appointment. |
